Wednesday, the Statistics Lithuania said in a report that industrial output dropped 17.9% year-on-year in March, after falling 15.3% in February. Adjusted for labor day effects, industrial output declined 19.9%.

During the month, manufacturing output fell an unadjusted 22.3%, while mining and quarrying output was down 39.8%. Production of utilities fell 3.5%.

Month-on-month, industrial production rose 0.8% in March, following a 6.2% drop in the previous month. After adjusting for seasonal effects, industrial output was down 6.3%.
