RTTNews - Friday, the Statistics Lithuania announced that the industrial producer prices decreased 15.1% year-over-year in May, compared with a 13.3% decline in April, revised from 13.4% fall reported initially. A year earlier, producer prices had grown 20.8%.

In May, prices for manufacturing production decreased 19.5% annually, while mining and quarrying output prices dipped 24.6%. However, prices for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply production rose 12.4%.

On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.7% in May, after revised a zero growth in the previous month.
