Officials did not find a 6-year-old boy from Colorado who was believed to be floating away on Thursday in a homemade balloon aircraft when it landed.
The balloon landed south of Prospect Springs near Colorado Springs around 3:45 pm EST but it was empty, KMGH reported.
Officials were trying to rescue the boy who entered the balloon made by his parents before it took off.
