Riot Games has announced the latest champion and skin sale for "League of Legends," the popular MOBA strategy game. The new sale will start Friday and run until Monday. Here's a rundown of the latest price cuts on champions:
Lulu, a support, will cost 487 RP. Galio, the AP tank/carry, will have his price lowered to 440 RP. Udyr, the melee fighter, will see his price get dropped to 292 RP.
We suspect that of the three champions offered in this latest sale, Udyr will be the most popular buy due to his propensity as a tank as well as his ability to hold his own in a 1v1 lane or as a jungler. At 440 RP, Galio is a solid buy as well, combining tanking ability with solid crowd control in the form of a slowing ability as well as his area-of-effect ultimate that taunts any enemy champions caught within range.
Here's a rundown of the latest price cuts on skins.
Special Forces Gangplank, 487 RP
Oktoberfest Gragas, 487 RP
Big Bad Warwick, 260 RP
While we consider Special Forces Gangplank to be the best skin of this bunch, we're not big fans of any of these offerings. Sometimes it seems as if "League of Legends" is undergoing an identity crisis. One minute they release a champion with a goosebump-inducing intro theme like Thresh, and the next minute they're dressing up Warwick in a skirt to spoof Little Red Riding Hood.
What do you think of the latest "League of Legends" champion and skin sale? Will you be taking advantage of it? If so, what champions and skins will you be buying? Which of the new skins is your favorite? What champions and skins do you want to see Riot Games put on sale? Sound off in the comments below.
