London held its busiest fashion festivities ever, with blockbuster creations from Burberry Prorsum and Alexander McQueen taking center stage on the fourth day of the week-long fashion extravaganza, the Daily Mail reported.

The 2012 London Fashion week saw not only a fabulous and luxurious collection from world-renowned designers, but A-list celebrities in their best attire caught the attention of the shutterbugs too.

Among the line-up of stars were actors Eddie Redmayne, Kate Bosworth, Holly Valance and singer Sophie Ellis Bextor in a chic maternity number. Bollywood beauty Sonam Kapoor was also spotted in the front row, looking fabulous in a trench coat with a slight touch of fusion.

Hollywood actress Salma Hayek also made an appearance in a tiger print attire for the Alexander McQueen offshoot held at The Old Sorting Office Building in the capital, the Web site noted.

The show was truly sensational - really, really amazing - not at all what I was expecting. The clothes were already unforgettable and extraordinary, the 45-year-old actress said in a statement on the Web site.

Far from the ramp, a fresh-faced Rosie Huntington-Whiteley talked about her love for Burberry: It's like working with family, Christopher [Bailey] is the best person I've ever met in my whole career and I love working with him, the model said in a statement for the Telegraph.
