The hottest designs for fall and winter were on display this weekend at London Fashion Week, which officially kicked off Thursday and ended Tuesday. Major brands like Burberry, Erdem and Pringle of Scotland helped to put on — and later wrap up — another series of shows.

Now that the London events have ended and it’s on to Milan, check out a photo recap of five of the top designer collections from London Fashion Week.

Versus Versace: Versace shows are typically some of the most covered events because of the A-list cast that takes part in their runway debuts. For the brand’s Versus Versace AW17 collection, Gigi Hadid opened the show while sister Bella Hadid closed. Black leather jackets and skirts and graphic-printed sweatshirts, track pants and black lace-up boots rounded out the show’s punk streetwear collection.

Burberry: Burberry’s collection was, in fact, designed as spring 2017 ready-to-wear because of its recent switch to a “see now, buy model” season model. Burberry designer Christopher Bailey took inspiration from British sculptor Henry Moore for the collection, which featured large and loose long sleeves, shrunken cream sweaters and classic Burberry trench coats.

Simone Rocha: The eponymous designer launched a collection that paid homage to the “feminine” and was aptly titled “The Marching Roses.” Although the pieces veered towards more military-inspired clothes — heavy trenches and military jackets with black leather belts and collared shirts buttoned to the neck — the collection nodded to women of various ages. Featured models included women from three generations, according to Business of Fashion.

Christopher Kane: Kane revived pastel floral prints and silks for the fall season. The designer also featured pieces in futuristic spaceship prints that were inspired by the Romanian artist Ionel Talpazan. Kane also showed models in furry Croc slides. The designer partnered with Crocs back in 2016, much to the shock of an industry that previously scorned them.

“I always work with unexpected items and combinations, transforming the everyday into desirable luxury. I wanted to bring my own stamp and DNA to Crocs’ classic clog shoe and achieve something really special,” Kane said of the partnership back in September, according to Vogue.

Erdem: More autumn-ready floral prints and silk pieces surfaced at the Erdem show. Designer Erdem Moralioglu featured an assortment of pieces inspired by the designer’s Turkish and Scottish heritage.

“It was important to strip the set back for this collection — which is quite a personal one — the story of my two grandmothers and their improbable meeting,” the designer recounted for British Vogue, speaking about the show’s minimal set design. “I wanted to imagine what would have happened to those women had they met.”
