Eva Longoria, “Desperate Housewives” co-star is temporarily closing down her Las Vegas nightclub due to financial troubles.

Longoria's Beso night club within the City Center complex at the Crystal Plaza on the Las Vegas Strip closed on Monday to save money. But, Liza Anderson, Longoria's publicist in Los Angeles, told local media that club will stay open in some capacity, adding that the Beso Restaurant, which is attached to the nightclub, will remain in operation.

“Beso Restaurant continues to thrive, and at this time Eve Nightclub will remain open for special occasions and private events during a slight remodel,” Anderson said in an email.

Lenard Schwartzer, Beso LLC bankruptcy attorney said on Wednesday that the restaurant attached to the club is profitable and will remain open. The nightclub could eventually be renovated and reopened, he added.

Beso LLC in January filed for bankruptcy while reorganizing nearly $5.7 million in debt to remain operating. The federal Chapter 11 filing claimed the nightspot was losing more than $76,000 per month, report said.
