WARSAW - Poland's No. 2 refiner Lotos is planning to turn on a new unit on Dec. 18, the company's spokesman said on Monday.

We're planning to turn on the main unit on December 18, Marcin Zachowicz told reporters.

A spokesman said overall refining capacity may reach 7-8 million tonnes next year but the new unit could boost nominal refining capacity up to 10.5 million tonnes annually. (Reporting by Patryk Wasilewski; Writing by Dagmara Leszkowicz; Editing by Mike Nesbit)
