With the upset victory by Stanford over USC on Saturday, there was a major shake up in the Associated Press college football rankings as LSU moved up a spot to No. 2 in the nation with Alabama still the top team in the nation.

LSU thumped their yet another opponet, as the Tigers cruised past Idaho, 63-14. Their SEC rival Alabama also dominated their Saturday matchup with Arkansas, 52-0.

Oregon moved to No. 3, with Florida State taking the fourth spot. Stanford moved from No. 22 to No. 9 with the victory over USC.

The Trojans, who entered the season as frontrunners for the National Championship, fell from No. 2 to No. 13.

Quarterback Matt Barkley may have an uphill battle to win the Heisman Trophy after a poor effort against the Cardinal. The senior threw two interceptions, and completed just 20-of-41 passes for 254 yards in the loss.
