Will Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Chloe (Lauren German) take their relationship to the next level in "Lucifer" Season 2, episode 12? FOX

“Lucifer” Season 2, episode 12 will introduce a different Chloe Decker (Lauren German). After making the first move on Lucifer (Tom Ellis) in episode 11, Chloe will try to seduce the lead character in “Love Handles.”

In the promo for the upcoming installment, the two characters are making out at Lux. When Chloe starts unbuttoning her shirt, Lucifer asks her if she’s really ready to have sex with him. The sudden shift in Chloe’s behavior is quite surprising, so of course, Lucifer takes notice. Later during a conversation with his mom, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer), Lucifer tells his mom about their kiss and adds that he’s unsure if Chloe really feels the same way for him.

In “Stewardess Interruptus,” Charlotte spoke with Chloe about Lucifer and told her that she thinks they should be together. Chloe was confused because she didn't think that Charlotte would ever like her for Lucifer. In line with this, it’s possible that Charlotte did something to Chloe to make her pursue Lucifer. After all, Charlotte’s goal is to send Lucifer back to Hell, and Chloe could help her with this.

Elsewhere in episode 12, Charlotte tells Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) that it’s no accident that God put Chloe in Lucifer’s path. By the looks of it, Charlotte will team up with Maze in order to eventually take down Lucifer and Chloe.

While speaking with TV Line, showrunner Ildy Modrovich said that Maze will be picking a side in the upcoming episodes of “Lucifer” Season 2. She will also be feuding with Lucifer in the upcoming episodes. Lucifer, on the other hand, could get support from his brother, Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside).

“Lucifer” Season 2, episode 12 will air on FOX on Jan. 23 at 9 p.m. EST.
