Actress Angelina Jolie may have selected L’Wren Scott to design her bridal gown for when she weds actor Brad Pitt.

Grazia recently received a tip that the designer is a serious contender for creating the dress that Jolie will wear during her upcoming nuptials.

“Angelina wanted to go with someone who is not so obvious for designing wedding gowns,” a friend told Grazia.

“She’s been courted by some of the hottest designers on the planet, but having a big name isn’t important to Angelina. She wanted someone she could trust and she most definitely trusts L’Wren.”

Angelina has worn Scott’s designs on several different occasions, according to the Daily Mail. She donned a black dress for the premier of Pitt’s film “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” in 2008, and a red dress in 2011 for the premier of “Moneyball.”

Another source told Grazia that Jolie and Scott, who is a former model and girlfriend to Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger, “originally bonded over their similar body shapes.”

“L’Wren is famed for designing clothes to suit taller, thin women like herself,” the source said.

“Of all the people she’s met with she feels L’Wren is the one that understands her body the most.”

Jolie and Pitt became engaged in April after being together for seven years. Rumors suggest that there will soon be a wedding; however, no wedding date has been revealed.

Grazia reports that attempts to contact Scott’s publicist as to whether she will be designing Jolie’s dress have been met with no comment.
