Friday, Macau's Statistics and Census Service or DSEC announced that the jobless rate stood at 3.6% in the December to February period, up from 3.4% in the November to January period.

At the same time, the underemployment rate amounted to 1.7%, down from 1.8% in the November to January period.

The unemployed population amounted to 12,000 in the December to February period, an increase of 600 over the previous period.

Total labor force totaled 332,000 in December to February period. During the period, the labor force participation rate dropped to 72.4% from 72.9 in the previous period.
