RTTNews - Friday, the Statistics and Census Service of Macau said in a report that the gross domestic product or GDP in real terms declined 12.9% year-on-year in the first quarter, compared with a 7.6% drop in the previous quarter.

Among the major GDP components, private consumption expenditure rose 3.4% in the first quarter, slower than the 9.4% growth in the previous quarter. At the same time, household final consumption expenditure in the domestic market increased 1.8%.
