Mad Men season 7 spoilers
Find out what will happen in episode 5 of "Mad Men." Justina Mintz/AMC

Can you believe there’s only three episodes left in Season 7A of “Mad Men”? Neither can we -- especially as things are just starting to heat up during part 1 of the AMC hit series!

Last night’s episode, “The Monolith,” revealed that the tables at Sterling Cooper & Partners have turned. Don is now working for Peggy and he’s not too thrilled with being ranked lower than his former secretary. Like a child, he throws a fit -- well, actually he throws a typewriter at his window but you get the point. But by the end of episode 4, Don comes to his senses, puts down the bottle and gets inspired to climb his way back up the advertising ladder after a pep talk with Lloyd.

So, that brings up to episode 5, “The Runaways.” First off, what could the title mean? Is Matthew Weiner having some serious cravings for Cherie Currie tunes? Or could the name be referring to what happened with Roger’s daughter. In last night’s episode, fans learn that Roger’s daughter, Margaret, has run away with a bunch of hippies to live a carefree lifestyle, leaving her husband and daughter behind. Roger ends up not being able to convince his daughter to come back to the city, which means Margaret is still “on the run.”

The vague synopsis for episode 5 didn’t help us in our mission to piece together clues for next week’s “Mad Men” episode: “Don receives a visitor from his past; Stan embarrasses a superior; Ginsberg gets help from Peggy with a problem; Harry finds a new ally.”

Typical for “Mad Men” to leave us on our toes with this “anything-can-happen” teaser.

More ambiguous clues were given to fans in the promo for “The Runaways.”

- Don gets a new typewriter.

- Betty cleans spoons.

- Stan gets his hands on something important.

- Shirley stands her ground. After Stan approaches Shirley with a piece of paper she tells him, “I’m sure he’d prefer if you hadn’t seen this.” Is she talking about her new boss Lou? Perhaps that’s who Stan embarrasses in episode 5.

- Don is put on crisis control. “You’re making it sound like an emergency, sweetheart,” he says into the phone. Could this have something to do with a visitor from his past? And who’s on the other line -- his kids?

- Ginsberg walks into something strange. During the promo we see him crouch down behind a desk after witnessing something dramatic.
