Maddie Ziegler and Chloe Lukasiak may no longer be competing against one another on Lifetime’s “Dance Moms” but that doesn’t mean the former teammate’s rivalry has come to an end.

After both receiving nominations in the Choice Dancer category ahead of the 2017 Teen Choice Awards, the dancers have been campaigning separately on their social media accounts for the win.

“I’m so incredibly honored and humbled to be nominated for Choice Dancer again! I wouldn’t be where I am today without you guys. Thank you all so much ,” Chloe posted to Instagram earlier this week.

Chloe’s mother and “Dance Moms” co-star, Christi Lukasiak, has unsurprisingly touted her support for her daughter online. “She has the BEST outlook on life & ignores the haters,” Christi posted to Twitter Monday, stating her reason why she thinks Chloe should win.

Maddie has been equally appreciative of the nomination online. “You guys are the best and can’t thank you enough for the nomination,” she wrote on Instagram Tuesday. Like Christi, Maddie’s mother, Melissa Gisoni, has reminded fans to cast their votes.

The year’s show marks the third time Maddie and Chloe have both been nominated in the Choice Dancer category. Maddie was the last to walk away with the win and the coveted surfboard trophy in 2016. Meanwhile, Chloe took home the win in 2015 win when the Fox show first unveiled the category.

Maddie did not make an acceptance speech following her win, instead opting to host a dance competition onstage between host John Cena and Victoria Justice with her “So You Think You Can Dance: Next Generation” co-star Cat Deeley. After the show, Maddie thanked fans on social media for recognizing her talents and said she was “overwhelmed” by the support.

Unlike Maddie, Chloe was gifted a few moments on stage to accept her award. “I just wanted to thank my dance teachers, all of my dancer teachers,” Chloe said. “Thank you to all of my fans. I wouldn’t be where I am without you. You guys mean the world to me.”

Chloe ended her speech with an empowering message, saying, “To anyone who has ever been told that they can’t do it, they shouldn’t do it or they aren’t good enough, ignore them, do it anyways, and prove them wrong.”

This year, Chloe and Maddie are nominated alongside “Dancing With the Stars” pros and siblings Julianne and Derek Hough, Kida the Great and tWitch. Fans can also vote on Twitter by tweeting the corresponding hashtag for the category and tagging the account of the nominee. Votes from private Twitter accounts will not be accepted. There is a limit of 10 votes per category per day for each login method.

Older “Dance Moms” fans are in lucky as you do not have to be a teen to vote for the show. Fox’s rules state that voters must live within the U.S. and be at least 13 years of age.
