“Dance Moms” viewers are in for a treat. Lifetime is scheduled to air a special dedicated to Maddie Ziegler, Abby Lee Miller’s star student, on Tuesday.

The network has revealed that the episode, which airs at 10:02 p.m. EDT, will touch on Maddie’s journey with the ALDC (Abby Lee Dance Company) coach and her blossoming career in the entertainment business. Maddie’s mother and co-star Melissa Gisoni will also play a central role in the episode.

“We will look back at Maddie and Melissa’s ‘Dance Moms’ journey from Maddie’s earliest days as Abby’s star pupil to her life now as the most famous 12-year-old dancer in the world,” Lifetime’s synopsis reveals. The special will also include “behind-the-scenes scoop” on the Sia music video star’s relationship with Melissa and and the mother-daughter duo’s “thoughts on the other moms’ jealousy.”

While Lifetime’s decision to air an episode solely dedicated to Maddie may seem a little like favoritism, “Dance Moms” fans can rest easy knowing she is not the only cast member receiving her own episode. Lifetime has announced several specials for other members of the reality series. The next episode, set to air on July 28, will star Nia Frazier and her mother Holly as they discuss the dancer’s “inspiring journey from underdog to pop star.”

In August, the remainder of the “Dance Moms” specials will premiere. On Aug. 4, Lifetime viewers will be treated to an inside look at Kendall Vertes’ story. “Kendall and [her mother] Jill share never before heard stories about the challenges they faced and how they kept moving forward,” the synopsis teases.

The following weeks will feature Maddie’s sister Mackenzie Ziegler’s journey (airing Aug. 11). Following the premiere of the Season 5 reunion on Aug. 18 at 9 p.m. EDT, Kalani Hilliker and JoJo Siwa’s stories will be told in a dual episode in the 10 p.m EDT time slot. “Kalani and Kira [Girard] reveal never before heard stories about their ups and downs with Abby and the tough decision to stay or go. JoJo and Jessalynn share details about their determination to become official ALDC team members along with their struggle of staying true to themselves,” reveals the episode summary.
