Politics makes strange bedfellows. Election 2012 is no exception as entertainment stars undertake high decibel campaign for hardcore politicians. However, this time with Madonna things do not seem to have worked to her advantage.

Apparently, Madge drew boos and triggered a walkout among fans as she sought support for President Barack Obama in her 'MDNA Tour' in New Orleans.

"Seriously, I don't care who you vote for...Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote," Madonna urged fans who booed her down for supporting Obama over Republican Mitt Romney, Daily Mail has reported.

However, this is not the first time the Material Girl is seeking support for Obama. Previously, in a concert held last month in Washington D.C., Madonna offered support to Obama but in her speech called him "the black Muslim in the White House."

"It means there is hope in this country. And Obama is fighting for gay rights, okay? So support the man, goddammit!" she said.

It is not clear if Madonna believes Obama is a Muslim or if she was poking fun at many who think he is a Muslim, for he practices Christianity.

However, this is not the first time that Madge's gaffe has earned the crowd’s ire. At a concert in Colorado, she used a fake gun to shoot a masked man in her act, which seemed to have hurt the sentiments of Denver fans, who were concerned about mass shooting.

In July, Madonna's concert in Paris drew the wrath of her fans as a video showed a politician sporting swastika on forehead, Daily Mail has pointed out.
