After releasing several feature-rich smartphones earlier this year, Letv unleashed its flagship smartphone that comes with full metal body in October. The Letv 1s manages to impress with high-end specs and affordable price tag.

The Letv 1s features a 5.5-inch IPS display that delivers a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It supports a pixel density of 401 ppi. It features the most powerful chipset from MediaTek. The MTK6795 (aka Helio X10) chipset features a 64-bit octa-core processor that clocks at 2.2 GHz. It is and PowerVR G6200 graphics. It is supported by 3 GB of RAM. On AnTuTu, the handset has managed to achieve a high score of 55,958.

The native storage available on the Letv 1S is 32 GB. There is no external storage slot on the device. It houses a 13-megapixel camera on its rear shell. There is a selfie shooter of 5-megapixel on the front panel of the device that supports 85 degree wide angle shooting. The rear camera features a single LED flash.

The handset features a fingerprint scanner that doubles up as a camera shutter key, Phone Arena reported. It is equipped with other sensors for gravity, proximity and ambient light.

The Letv 1s is shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is overlaid with the proprietary software of EUI5.5. The dual-SIM handset supports 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB-Type C and v4.0 Bluetooth. It is powered by a battery of 3,000 mAh capacity. It can deliver a talk time of 3.5 hours. The handset measures 151.1 x 74.2 x 7.5 mm and weighs 169 grams.

Letv 1S is currently unavailable for purchase in the U.S. or European nations. Gear Best has listed the golden colored variant for $203 whereas the silver edition is listed for $225. The Chinese retailer is selling both the editions of the handset along with free shipping service for global buyers.
