Thursday morning in Asia, the Malaysian currency edged higher against the US dollar. The ringgit rose to a 3-day high of 3.63 against the greenback by 9:25 pm ET Wednesday, compared to Wednesday's New York session closing value of 3.6465. On the upside, 3.611 is seen as the next resistance level for the Malaysian currency.
