Malia and Sasha Obama stole the show during their official visit to Cuba with their parents President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle on Sunday. The girls and their mom showed off their sartorial style in simple dresses. The family kicked off the historic trip on a rainy Sunday, marking the first time a U.S. president has visited the island in almost 90 years.

The Obama girls gave a masterclass in how to wear all the trends of spring during their visit to the country. They also showed some style inspiration while in Cuba. The 17-year-old Malia opted for a colorful dress from Asos.
Her floral skater dress from Asos featured a contrasting overlay with three-fourth length sleeves that gives the illusion of a layered dress and crop top combo. The sleeves had bell detailing. Malia paired it with black shoes, but later ditched it for comfortable white sneakers. Both the sisters went for the very on-trend pairing of wearing a flirty dress with sneakers.
Meanwhile, Sasha, 14, opted for a black sheath dress. Her sleeveless, short dress from Shoshanna featured a V neckline. It had a touch of white embellishment at the neckline and down the sides. She paired her dress with black platform sneakers and accessorized with a pendant choker.
The sisters did not let the rain dampen their spirits. Malia and Sasha left their long tresses loose over their shoulder. Sasha kept hers in a center part, while her big sister wore her hair in her signature style of side part with loose curls.
Michelle Obama looked stunning in a floral dress by Carolina Herrera. The first lady’s sleeveless dress featured a V neck, fitted bodice and flared skirt. The A-line over-the-knee dress also featured a dotted floral print.
The 51-year-old accessorized with a pair of comfortable flats — slingback flats. Michelle wore her short tresses in a side part with curls. Malia acted as an interpreter for her father as he talked with a Spanish-speaking Cuban man in a restaurant. The father-daughter duo is seen grinning ear-to-ear.
