Up until a few days ago, Sir Alex Ferguson had several players whose status was uncertain going into tonight's match at Old Trafford against Marseille.

Midfielder Antonio Valencia started Saturday's match against Arsenal, and there have been no reports of a flare up to his ankle.

Michael Carrick is expected to be match-game fit, as well.

Nani, who was nursing a shin injury, appers to be available, though the winger's status is not completely certain.

Star central midfielder Nemanja Vidic is a likely starter tonight.

Meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand remains hobbled, and Darren Fletcher has been ruled out.

Ji-Sung Park and Owen Hargreaves are training, but no timetable has been set for their return.
