Premier League giant Manchester United face Bundesliga underdog Schalke 04 on Tuesday at Veltins-Arena in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.

Aside from Premier League leading goal-scorer Dimitar Berbatov, who is out with a groin injury, and midfielder Darren Fletcher, who is sidelined due to a stomach virus, Manchester United are in good health.

A big question for Schalke is the health of two vital players: Dutch forward Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and defender Benedikt Howedes.

Additional players who are questionable or are out for Schalke include defenders Christian Pander and Tim Hoogland, midfielders Christop Moritz and Peer Kluge, and forward Mario Gavranovic.
