Euro zone PMI services for January advanced reading at 52.3 worse than both the projected and prior readings of 53.8 and 53.6 respectively while PMI manufacturing rose to 52.0 from 51.6 which is higher than the expected 51.9. PMI composite which takes into account the manufacturing and services sector fell to 53.6 from 54.2, which is lower than the predicted 54.4.
