Mark Few and Gonzaga have a good chance for an upset

There are always upsets in the NCAA Tournament.

Thursday will probably be no exception.

The second round begins on Thursday, and with 16 games there will be plenty of opportunities for surprises.

One of them may very well be Utah State who face Kansas State.

The Aggies have won eight games in a row. They're led by Tai Wesley, a 6'7 senior forward. Utah St. finished 15-1 in the WAC standings.

Kansas St., on the other hand, have played 10 top-25 teams this season, and beat half of them. But they also lost to Colorado three times. The Wildcats are led by star guard Jacob Pullen, but the Aggies may surprise them.

Another potential upset is Gonzaga over St. John's.

This is clearly the most interesting matchup on Thursday. Steve Lavin's Red Storm have lots of seniors, but Gonzaga is always tough, and this year is no different, as they're peaking at the right time. The Bulldogs have won nine games in a row.

Clemson is loaded with talent and they will try to knock off 2010 Final Four team West Virginia. Clemson has six players scoring nearly eight points a game or better, and seem due for a break out.

It may be a stretch for the Tigers to pull off the win over the Mountaineers, but stranger things have happened.
