New Yorkers may be trapped in an endless winter, but they can still join in Mardi Gras revelry without flying down to New Orleans. Le Poisson Rouge, Bourbon Street Bar and Grill, Bourbon Street NYC and the Delta Grill are just some of the local venues that are throwing Fat Tuesday parties.

When: 6:30 p.m. Price: $35 for one, $60 for two

What better way to celebrate Mardi Gras than with live music from the Lost Bayou Ramblers, Mamarazzi, Hungry March Band and the Main Squeeze Orchestra? There will also be live art by Zito, stiltwalkers from the Lady Circus and a Celebrity King & Queen to be revealed later.

When: 8 p.m.

Drinks: $5 hurricanes, abitas, draft beers & $20 buckets of Beer

Food specials: $10 chicken & sausage jambalaya, $7 po'boy special and $3 Zapp's chips

Those looking to celebrate Mardi Gras early should head down to Bourbon Street NYC . The New Orleans-themed bar says on its Facebook page there will be plenty of drink specials and giveaways in honor of their biggest party day of the year.

When: Buffet opens at 6 p.m.; Music stars at 7 p.m.

A $30 admission will include an unlimited Cajun menu that features crawfish boil, jambalaya, red beans and rice, and chicken Creole, one free hurricane and Southern music from Citigrass.
