Will Smith’s rumored affair with actress Margot Robbie is all lies, according to the actress. Following the release of scandalous images of the 45-year-old actor posing with Robbie, his “Focus“ co-star, the actress has responded to rumors of an alleged affair, calling the accusations “ridiculous.”

In a statement on her official Twitter account Friday, Robbie, 23, called out Star magazine, which originally published the controversial images, and denied her rumored romance with Smith. “Been working nonstop, just catching my breath. There’s absolutely no truth to the ridiculous rumors in Star mag,” said Robbie, later adding, “It’s disappointing that goofing around on set could be taken so out of context.”

The suggestive images in question, which show Robbie posing with a bare-chested Smith while lifting her shirt and showing her bra, were published in Star along with a report saying the black-and-white photos were taken by the co-stars while on location in New Orleans on Oct. 25.

“Once they pulled the curtain back to take the pictures, they let their inhibitions run wild,” a source revealed to the magazine, adding that the duo was spotted laughing, hugging and “nuzzling each other in the dark" the same night.

Star magazine’s report directly contradicts a comment from a separate source to People magazine Thursday stating that the actors are not romantically involved. “[They] are just friends and were just being silly," said the insider. Despite the recent rumors that Smith and his wife of 16 years, actress Jada Pinkett Smith, are on the rocks, the source claimed the longtime couple’s union is not in jeopardy. “Will and Jada’s marriage is fine. Everyone there knows it was nothing,” stated the report.
