Margot Robbie was reportedly offered the role of Sue Storm, The Invisible Woman, in Josh Trank’s recently released film “Fantastic Four.” The actress recently spoke about her meeting with Trank and why she did not take up the role.

“I didn't really resonate with the script, and I haven't seen the movie, so I don't really know how it turned out different from the page. But I had a great meeting with the director [Trank] and I really enjoyed that,” Robbie told NY Daily News.

She added that scoring or losing a role is part of the film profession. Kate Mara played the role of Storm in “Fantastic Four,” which released on Aug. 7. The film did not prove successful at the box office.

Robbie, who rose to fame with the “Wolf of the Wall Street,” will be seen in another superhero film “Suicide Squad.” She plays the role of supervillain Harley Quinn, and will be romancing with Oscar winner Jared Leto’s character the Joker.

In the comics, Harley Quinn is a Batman nemesis. She is the girlfriend of Joker and a close friend of Poison Ivy. She gets immunity to toxins from Poison Ivy. She is a skilled gymnast and a trained psychiatrist.

In the film, Robbie will be seen sporting pigtails and a red costume. The actress is hopeful that she will do justice to the character.

“Yeah, I guess it’s intimidating because there’s obviously a lot of people I want to please and a character I have to do justice, but it’s a challenge. I’m definitely up for it, and hopefully I don’t disappoint,” she said in her previous interview to MTV.

“Suicide Squad," which was released on Aug. 5, stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Karen Fukuhara, Jay Hernandez, Adam Beach and Viola Davis. Robbie will also be seen as Jane Porter in the upcoming film “Tarzan.”
