Mark Zuckerberg has reaped the rewards of a successful career – and family. His wife, Priscilla Chan, was expecting their second child together, the Facebook CEO announced Thursday.

The tech mogul shared the news in an Instagram post and went on to reveal that the couple’s experience with their first daughter, Max, was a difficult one and the pair was unsure if they would have more children. Zuckerberg and Chan had Max in November of 2015.

“Priscilla and I are happy to share we’re expecting another baby girl!” Zuckerberg, 32, wrote in the announcement. “After our difficult experience having Max, we weren’t sure what to expect or whether we’d be able to have another child. Prior to Max, the couple had attempted to get pregnant for years, and Zuckerberg had said Chan had experienced three miscarriages, according to the New York Daily News.

“I cannot think of a greater gift than having a sister and I’m so happy Max and our new child will have each other,” Zuckerberg wrote.

Chan and Zuckerberg met and began dating in 2003 when the now-billionaire was studying at Harvard University. They later married in 2012.

Zuckerberg’s positive familial news followed a windfall year for the billionaire. In January, Forbes reported that Zuckerberg‘s net worth had climbed about $5 billion within the first weeks of the new year – the biggest spike of any person in the world for that time period.

The co-founder, chairman and CEO of Facebook currently holds a net worth of $57.7 billion, according to real-time tracking by Forbes.

However, Zuckerberg and Chan have planned to put their fortune toward a good cause. The couple recently decided that they would spend $3 billion throughout the next decade to attempt to cure, handle or prevent all disease by the end of the century.
