Market Moving News: AUD/USD - Aug 9

AUD/USD - 0.9148 ... The aussie staged a bounce abv Asian morning low at 0.9135 after the release of RBA Quarterly Monetary Policy Statement. The Australia's central bank stuck to its forecasts for domestic growth to accelerate to 4% over the next two years, driven by a boom in trade and mining investment, but still expected underlying inflation to stay within its target. However, RBA gave little guidance on the outlook on interest rates and said only that it thought the current setting of monetary policy was appropriate at this stage.
