Euro extended y'day's selloff fm 1.4459 n penetrated NY low of 1.4332 as renewed selling by hedge funds & other names pressured price to an intra-day low of 1.4306 in an attempt to trigger rumoured stops just below 1.4300. Price has recovered due to profit-taking bids ahead of European opening. Although range- trading is seen, selling interest by U.S. names plus model funds remains strg at 1.4350/70 area.
