Market Moving News: EUR/USD - Jan 3

EUR/USD - 1.4368.. The single ccy retreated fm European intra-day high of 1.4361 due to active cross selling of eur vs gbp, price then tumbled to as low as 1.4273 just after the release of Chicago PMI index but the rally in cable subsequently prompted active short-covering n lifted price to 1.4358. Renewed buying in Asia has pushed the pair marginally higher to 1.4373 but range-trading shud be seen today as most traders have closed their books n orders wud dominate intra-day flow. Not much happening here except some bids are placed near 1.4300/10 n offers at 1.4390/00.
