USD/JPY - 90.61.. Dlr eases in Tokyo morning after climbing abv y'day's high of 90.72 to 90.75 in Australia on cross-selling in yen but hawkish comments by PBOC's asst. governor that 'China faces greater difficulty this year keeping appropriately loose monetary policy' has prompted unwinding in yen carry trades. Both Japan Finance Minister & BOJ's Shirakawa had also spoken in the morning but market has shown muted reaction. Good 2-way flows are seen with usual offers by Japanese exporters & corps. at 90.70-91.00 n buying interest by funds & European names are reported at 90.40-20 area.
