Sean Varricchio and Davina Kullar decided to get a divorce at the end of "Married at First Sight." A&E

“Married at First Sight” fans tune in to the show every week, but one contestant still hasn’t watched an episode this season. Sean Varricchio revealed that after deciding to divorce Davina Kullar, he didn’t want to watch the show.

“For me, watching it, it’s almost like being let down again because I went into it hoping to be happy and it didn’t work out that way,” Sean told the New York Post. The website reports that he hasn’t sat through an entire episode yet.

On the A&E docu-series, experts matched Sean with Davina and they were married the first time they met. After six weeks, the couple decided that they weren’t meant to be together, and they opted to get a divorce. The trauma nurse had much higher hopes after watching Doug Hehner and Jamie Otis connect during “Married at First Sight” Season 1. Sean actually lives near Doug and wanted a similar experience.

“Doug and Sean Varricchio practically grew up together. They lived in the same development,” Otis told Wetpaint. “Sean Varricchio decided to go on ‘Married at First Sight’ because of Doug and my journey, I guess.”

Doug and Jamie had problems in the beginning of their marriage. Jamie wasn’t attracted to her new husband and had trust issues. However, the two worked on their problems and decided to stay together. They even went on to have a spinoff series, “Married at First Sight: The First Year” where they renewed their vows.

Unfortunately, Sean and Davina had drastically different results. They were the only “Married at First Sight” Season 2 couple that decided to get a divorce, and they don’t even seem to be friends after their split.

“I would describe the relationship between her and I right now to be pretty non-existent,” Sean said.

They ended the series with a quick goodbye after Sean called her “egocentric” and hurt Davina’s feelings. It caused them to fight as they were moving out of their shared apartment.

“At decision day, we had a friendship going into that and he really blindsided me with some really negative comments,” Davina said. “It makes it difficult to have a friendship because a friendship is based on trust, based on components of character, and those were unfortunately laid to the side.”

If this year's reunion is anything like last year's, Davina and Sean will likely have to confront each other on the “Married at First Sight” Season 2 reunion.

Part 1 of the “Married at First Sight” Season 2 reunion special will air Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on A&E and FYI. Do you think Sean should watch the series? Sound off in the comments section below!
