Leading provider of Blu-ray Disc and DVD product solutions Marvell Technology on Tuesday said its 88DE2710 video processor powers Sony's latest High-End BDP-S5000ES Blu-Ray Disc Player.

The Sony's latest Blu-ray player is designed to offer a consistent, high-quality 1080p image, vivid true-to-life pictures, and an immersive home theater experience, and offers BD-Live for interactive content and supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio formats.

It also enables Qdeo-powered Blu-ray platform for its high-end home theaters, which supports BD-Bonus View (profile 1.1), and BD-Live (profile 2.0) as well as legacy red laser media such as DVD, DVD-VR, SVCD, VCD, and CDDA.
