While many have criticized the Olsen twins' eclectic style choices, the 23-year-old mini-moguls score major style points with the country's leading fashion designers. Both Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have recently earned a spot in the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America.

The twins were among 31 designers admitted to the CFDA by its president Diane von Furstenburg. Other notable up-and-coming designers inducted include Alexander Wang, Jason Wu, and Chris Benz.

We are proud to welcome these 31 new members into the CFDA family and we are excited to add such a variety of creative talent to our ranks, said executive director, Steven Kolb, in an announcement earlier this week.

The actresses-turned-designers were honored for their clothing lines, Elizabeth and James, a collection of vintage-inspired contemporary basics and The Row, a high-fashion line inspired by London's Saville Row.
