Meadow Rain Walker is “still in shock” after her father, “Fast & Furious” star Paul Walker, was killed in a tragic car accident in Los Angeles on Saturday. The 15-year-old Hawaiian was the actor’s only child, whom he had with then-girlfriend Rebecca McBrain in 1998 before his “Fast and the Furious” stardom.

According to E! News, Meadow is leaning on her mother and friends for support after her father’s sudden and tragic death. The teen grew up in Hawaii, but just recently moved to California to be closer to her father. A source added that friends have flown in to be with Meadow.

“She is surrounded by family and friends, and they are trying to comfort her and help her get through this,” the insider revealed to E! News. "Everyone is taking it hard, but there has been a large outpouring of love and support for the family.”

Walker and his friend Roger Rodas died after attending a benefit for the actor’s charity Reach Out Worldwide. It was always important to the actor, a different source told the news site, but he never wanted media or tabloid attention for his relief efforts. “There is so much to say about a man who unconditionally loved his family and friends as well as people whom he did not know,” the source said. “He was such a modest, giving person."

Celebrities have taken to Twitter and Instagram to mourn the loss of Walker, but no one has done so as publicly as his “Fast & Furious” costar Tyrese Gibson, who posted several touching messages on Instagram and showed up overwrought and in tears at his friend’s crash site.

In the age of social media, Walker’s daughter already fell victim to a Facebook page hoax, with a poser pretending to be Meadow Rain in a personal note about the late actor. The imposter wrote sentimental messages in the post like, “I loved him even before I knew what love was,” and, “It brings tears in my eyes as I write this!”
