If talking about Meek Mill’s lyrics got him in trouble, Beanie Sigel’s latest comments will likely give him an even bigger problem.

During a recent appearance on the podcast “Tax Season,” Beans found himself talking about the Drake and Meek Mill beef and said he believes the feud between the two started over Meek’s girlfriend, Nicki Minaj.

Speaking about Meek’s claims that Drake used a ghostwriter, Beans said Drake didn’t have to live by the same rules as most rappers due to his pop star status. “Drake don’t gotta live by the rules we live by, or [the rules] you claim to live by. He’s not a street n---,” said Sigel.

“He’s not from the streets, so he don’t gotta live by that code. You can’t look at that man in a different light because he got armed security or whoever he got. He’s the f------ biggest thing in music, n----! A pop star. Who cares if he not writing that s---? [Drake] saying some s---,” he continued.

Sigel then wondered what the real reason for their feud could be. “So what’s the real reason why [Meek] was mad at Drake?” said Sigel, before sharing he believes it all stems from Meek Mill thinking that Nicki Minaj slept with Drake, her label mate. “In my point of view? You was laying in the bed one night, you rolled over and you looked at her and you asked her, ‘You [slept with him?]’ And she ain’t answer you in the way you wanted to.”

This is Sigel’s second time speaking about Meek Mill in public. The first time involved an interview where Sigel hinted that he may have had a hand in writing Meek Mill’s diss aimed at The Game. Sigel’s comments led to a member from Meek’s Dreamchasers crew attacking him at the backstage of a Diddy concert.

As for Drake and Nicki Minaj, Drake told Zane Lowe of the Beats 1 Radio show in May that he and Minaj hadn’t spoken since his beef with Meek Mill started. “I don’t really talk to Nicki,” Drake said. “Unfortunately, we haven’t spoke. But it is what it is. Even if we don’t speak, she knows what it is. It’s always love.”
