Meet Ariel Meredith, Hakeem Nicks' Girlfriend: Giants Star Reportedly Dating Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model [PHOTOS]

New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks is reportedly dating a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.

Nicks and his new girlfriend, model Ariel Meredith, attended Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 50^th Anniversary party together in February, SI Hot Clicks reports. It’s unclear how long they've been an item.

Meredith, 27, is prominently featured in the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and had previously appeared in the 2009, 2012 and 2013 editions of the magazine. Her photo shoots from this year’s magazine can be viewed here.

According to New York Magazine, Nicks’ girlfriend has been a full-time model since 2008, when she signed with Ford Models in New York. Besides Sports Illustrated, she’s modeled for several prominent brands, including Victoria’s Secret and Dolce & Gabbana.

Aside from her fame as a fashion model, Meredith made headlines in December, when a video of her twerking in a bikini went viral. The video has since been deleted.

Nicks is a superstar in his own right. The 26-year-old wide receiver has twice surpassed the 1,000-yards receiving mark as a pro, although injuries limited his effectiveness in 2012 and 2013. Still, the Giants star is a hot commodity on this year’s free agent market and will likely receive a big payday.
