A New York City model and actress filed a $5 million defamation lawsuit against rapper 50 Cent on April 24, claiming the rapper attempted to have her blacklisted from gigs.

According to the suit, the publicly claimed that Sally Ferreira leaked images to a blog from a video shoot she did with the rapper, reports Page Six. The images then sparked rumors that the two were dating.

The documents detail that on March 27, 50 Cent -- whose given name is Curtis Jackson -- took to his Instagram account to blast Ferreira. The post came just days after the leaked photos from the “Big Rich Town” video were taken and

The rapper posted an image of Ferreira to his Instagram account with the following text:

“WARNING: Do not attempt to work with this thirsty Video bitch [Her name is Sally Ferreira and she's a model...] she sent photos Of the video shoot to Media takeout Saying I’m in a relationship With her Can anyone say RESHOOT.”

Beneath the image, 50 Cent added, “Big FAIL, super thirsty, new shoot this week coming. Unbelievable #smsaudio #Animal Ambition.”

Ferreira's suit claims that 50 Cent “had no factual basis” to post that she had leaked the images or encourage people not to work with her. She added she has been in a nine year relationship.

“Mr. Jackson knew his posting would be widely circulated and published to hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of individuals and entities,” the suit says.

The suit says that the posts were removed just hours after they went up “in recognition of his wrongdoing.” But Ferreira remained the subject of several "negative and hurtful" articles in connection to 50 Cent's statements. She also says that three entertainment industry projects she was working on were halted after the comments were posted.

Reps for 50 Cent were unable to be reached for comment, reported the Post.
