There’s been some debate over whether “Suits” actress Meghan Markle would be allowed to attend the nuptials of Pippa Middleton, the sister of Duchess Cambridge Kate Middleton, but it appears the Hollywood star will be present at the affair. Markle was pictured with boyfriend Prince Harry in London Tuesday before Pippa was slated to marry fiancé James Matthews Saturday at St. Mark's Church in Englefield, Berkshire.

The “Suits” star was driven to Kensington Palace after she flew into Heathrow International Airport, E! Online reported Wednesday. The couple dressed down in blue jeans, both wearing button down shirts. Markle added a black jacket to her ensemble and Prince Harry finished his outfit with a blue beanie.

Their relationship was confirmed by Kensington Palace in November. It wasn’t until last month they made their first public appearance together at a charity polo event. Even though there weren’t any photographs of them entering or exiting together, Markle was seen cheering on Prince Harry and there was a picture snapped of them kissing in a parking lot.

From the time their relationship was announced, it was widely criticized in the media. Prince Harry attempted to put a stop to the denunciation, releasing a statement through Kensington Palace in November saying a “line was crossed.”

Part of the statement read:

“His girlfriend, Meghan Markle, has been subject to a wave of abuse and harassment. Some of this has been very public – the smear on the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment pieces; and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments. Some of it has been hidden from the public the nightly legal battles to keep defamatory stories out of papers; her mother having to struggle past photographers in order to get to her front door; the attempts of reporters and photographers to gain illegal entry to her home and the calls to police that followed; the substantial bribes offered by papers to her ex-boyfriend; the bombardment of nearly every friend, co-worker, and loved one in her life.”

Harry was worried about Markle’s safety and wanted to protect her. “It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms Markle should be subjected to such a storm. He knows commentators will say this is 'the price she has to pay' and that 'this is all part of the game'. He strongly disagrees. This is not a game – it is her life and his,” the statement added.

Rumors swirled Markle would not be allowed to attend Pippa’s nuptials since she enacted the “no ring, no bring rule,” which means a guest cannot invite someone who is not their spouse, or engaged to be a spouse. To get around this rule, Pippa reportedly invited Markle individually and not as Harry’s guest.

Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 2, will reportedly involve in the wedding, playing the roles of page boy and flower girl. Kate Middleton might take a backseat, giving up her role of maid of honor, as to not steal her sister’s thunder.
