Before Meghan Markle started dating her future husband Prince Harry, she was best known for starring on the USA Network drama “Suits.” During her time on the show, Markle did limited interviews with her first late night talk show appearance being “The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson” in 2013.

While Markle has since parted ways with her acting career, the interview is still available for viewing online, and contains some memorable quips from Craig Ferguson.

After being called “sensational” by the host, the two discussed the success of “Suits,” Markle’s college education, her past work with the U.S. embassy, and, eventually, her grooming habits.

The conversation about Markle’s body started after Ferguson asked where she was from. When Markle stated she is “one of the five” Los Angeles natives, she instructed him to pinch her, saying, “I’m real.”

After coming in contact with Markle’s arm once, Ferguson touched her a second time. “I just wanted to do it again. Strangely hairless body you have,” he quipped.

“You’re quite the dolphin, aren’t you?” he continued as Markle laughed. “You’re absolutely hair-free.”

“It’s not easy being a lady,” Markle stated.

Ferguson continued on the subject, asking the actress if she was a competitive swimmer. “I am not,” Markle replied. “But if I were to be one, I think I would get some speed.”

Later in the interview, Markle recalled growing up on the set of the sitcom “Married With Children” where her dad, Thomas Markle, worked as a director of photography. Markle said that on set she would wear her school uniform and sport her “curly hair,” which resulted in Ferguson asking about her hair type.

“Is your hair curly naturally, is that what you’re saying?” Ferguson asked.

“It doesn’t remember what it once was,” Markle said. “But yes, once upon a time it was curly.”
