Meghan Markle has found her new palace aide.

On Thursday, Markle and Prince Harry visited Cardiff Castle. Many noticed that there was a woman who was beside the "Suit" actress all the time. The woman was identified as Amy Pickerill, the royal bride-to-be's first dedicated palace staffer, People reported.

Pickerill was transferred from the Kensington Palace press operation to Prince Harry's personal office after she was selected to be Markle's staffer. She now has a new title of Assistant Private Secretary to Prince Harry.

The publication noted that Pickerill's change of offices has been planned for quite some time already. With her new role, she is expected to support and assist the "Horrible Bosses" star. This is the reason she was spotted beside Markle all the time throughout couple's visit to Cardiff.

People added that following Prince Harry and Markle's announcement, palace sources said that the princess in waiting will receive the support of private secretary Ed Lane Fox and his team. Pickerill being Markle's staffer is considered to be an addition to that group.

In related news, during Prince Harry and Markle's visit in Cardiff, the couple was presented with a 5-tier wedding cake made of cheese. The sweet treat was created by Snowdonia Cheese Company in Rhyl, North Wales.

"We made it for them. It's to celebrate their wedding and to offer our congratulations to them. We do get asked to make wedding cakes occasionally. We have been asked in the past to do it," Simon Mercer, director of the cheese company said.

He added that Prince Harry and Markle "are very welcome to take it away." However, he was also aware that "it's unlikely" considering that the couple had to ride a train back to the Kensington Palace.

During Markle and Prince Harry's recent royal engagement, they also shared "cheeky" moments with the kids at Star Hub. In fact, they took the time to watch the children play table tennis and Jenga. They also witnessed a dance performance from children aged 5 to 11.

Dean Maynard, center assistant, noticed Markle's warmth and kindness to the kids. He can't help but praise Prince Harry and his fiancée.

"She was incredible," Dean told Entertainment Tonight. "She was very, very friendly and easy to approach. She was really getting involved. She wasn't shying back away from anything. She was really interacting with the kids. Both of them were interacting a lot with the kids."
