The Meizu M2 is the latest budget smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker that comes with exciting specifications. The handset has been exclusively available in China since its launch in July.

On Monday, the handset was released in India. However, it is unavailable for purchase in other countries. Third party retailers like Gear Best is selling the Meizu M2 worldwide with free shipping service.

The Meizu M2 was launched to replace the Meizu M1 handset that was announced in January this year. Like the M1, the M2 comes with a 5-inch display that supports HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It offers a better screen-to-body ratio of 71.4 percent compared to 70 percent screen-to-body ratio offered by Meizu M1.

The Meizu M2 comes with an upgraded chipset of MediaTek MT6735 that features a 64-bit quad-core processor that clocks at 1.3 GHz along with Mali-T720MP2 graphics. It is supported 64-bit quad-core processor by 2 GB of RAM.

The internal storage of the Meizu M2 is 16 GB. The second SIM slot of the handset also functions as a microSD card slot that supports up to 128 GB of data. The camera present on the rear panel of the M2 is of 13-megapxiel whereas the top bezel at the front houses a 5-megapixel camera. The rear camera features a dual-LED flash.

The Meizu M2 is shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS that is modified with the Flyme 4.5 UI skin from Meizu. It comes with a host of connectivity features such as 4G, 3G, v4.0 Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, aGPS and more. The device measures 140.1 x 68.9 x 8.7 mm and its weight is 131 grams. It is packed with a big battery of 2,500 mAh capacity.

Gear Best is selling the Meizu M2 in color options like black and white along with free shipping support for buyers across the globe. It is listed with a price tag of $128.
