Three men were found marvelously alive after being trapped in a flooded mine for 25 days in Qinglong county, southwest China's Guizhou Province Sunday, July 12, 2009, China Daily reported on Monday.

The Xinqiao Coal Mine in Qinglong County was flooded on June 17 when 16 miners were working underground. One was found dead on June 25. Twelve remained missing after the three survivors were found.

The three miraculous miners were offered an intravenous drip at a makeshift tent where doctors tried to determine if their health conditions will allow any transportation to hospital for further treatment.

According to the rescuerers, the three survivors lived on the existing drainage underground during the 25 days.

The survivors set up a new record by surviving the 604 hours underground.
