Meredith Vieira co-hosts her last 'Today Show' on NBC

Longtime NBC television host Meredith Vieira said farewell to the Today Show this morning. In fact, almost an entire two-hour segment was devoted to her departure.

Vieira has not said what her future plans might include, although it is very possible she finds her way back to television. Current news anchor Ann Curry will replace Vieira, joining current co-host Matt Lauer.

Former CBS Evening News host Katie Couric already has a new home. She agreed to a deal with ABC to host a talk show on the network.
