While NBC announced the cancellation of several shows, including “Smash,” “Whitney” and “The New Normal,” it also introduced several new shows, including “The Blacklist,” “Ironside,” “Welcome to the Family” and “Dracula.”

One of the other shows introduced that particularly stands out is “The Michael J. Fox Show,” which marks Michael J. Fox’s return to regular appearances on television. The series, loosely based on his life, is about a former news anchor returning to work five years later after he left his job to focus on his family after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
