Michael Jackson's body will be buried at a Los Angeles cemetery on August 29, which would have been his 51st birthday, according to his father.

Joe Jackson, 80, said the birthday burial at Los Angeles's Forest Lawn Cemetery would be a private event. He told the New York Daily News on Monday the plan was finalized in recent days.

Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest on June 25 in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles County Coroner's office has completed its autopsy report but its findings remain sealed until police conclude their investigation.

Police are still investigating whether prescription drugs played a role in his death and have focused on the role played by his personal physician Conrad Murray.

Murray was present at the time Jackson died and reportedly has admitted prescribing powerful anesthetics to his client.

A Jackson family spokesman was not immediately available Monday to make a comment, nor was a spokesman at Los Angeles' Forest Lawn cemetery, where Joe Jackson said his son would be buried.
