Singers Mariah Carey, Usher and Stevie Wonder are among those scheduled to participate on Michael Jackson's memorial service on Tuesday, according to CNN, citing a statement from the Jackson family.

Also appearing will be Jennifer Hudson, John Mayer and Smokey Robinson as well as basketball players Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, the Rev. Al Sharpton and Martin Luther King III, according to the report.

Thousands of fans began picking up their free tickets to attend the memorial at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles tomorrow. A total of 17,500 tickets were given to fans from which only 11,000 will have access to the Staples Center and the remaining will watch the broadcast of the event at the Nokia Theater.

Michael Jackson's public memorial service will kick off on July 7, at 1:00 p.m. EST. in the Staples Center.

It is likely that Michael Jackson's family will hold a private service for the singer Tuesday 8:00 a.m. PST at one of the Forest Lawn cemeteries in Los Angeles, 2 hours ahead of the public one, CNN reports today.
