A former doctor of Michael Jackson who was aware the singer was seeking the drug propofol and someone who would administer it for him, warned him about the dangers of taking it.

The rheumatologist, Allan Metzger reportedly visited Jackson in April, Harlan Braun, the doctor's attorney said according to People Magazine Friday.

Jackson was looking for propofol and Dr. Metzger turned him down and advised him how dangerous it was, Braun told People.

The drug is commonly used as an anesthetic.

Metzger treated Jackson prior to 2003 and would give him advice on general nutrition and child immunization. The doctor could be a witness to testify that Jackson was looking for that specific drug, the attorney said.
