The controversy over a controversial  an offensive image of Fist Lady Michelle Obama grew after Internet search leader Google said that the fact that certain images appear in its search engine results does not reflect the opinion of the company.

Google made an effort using its own ad space to explain why the image ranked high when the search for Michelle Obama was done on the search engine.

The beliefs and preferences of those who work at Google, as well as the opinions of the general public, do not determine or impact our search results, Google stated.

The image shows an edited photo of the first lady with the face altered to look like that of a monkey.

Google had previously a search result for the photo, stating that it was hosted by a malware site. However the image returned to the web on other site.
